Start your next adventure behind the wheel of the new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder. Effortlessly versatile and powerfully efficient, the Nissan Pathfinder has everything you're looking for in your next full-size SUV upgrade. It accommodates up to eight passengers, thanks to its third row, and when the second and third row are folded flat, the Nissan Pathfinder offers 80.5 cubic feet of cargo space.1 That's more than enough room to handle your grocery bags, hiking gear and home improvement supplies with ease. The Nissan Pathfinder includes other SUV must-haves, like an optional Motion Activated Liftgate, tri-zone automatic climate control system and an available tow hitch receiver with a seven-pin wiring harness.2 Craving an extra boost of adrenaline to your daily drive? The Nissan Pathfinder SUV's 3.5-liter Direct Injection Gasolineâ„¢ V6 engine boasts high numbers in horsepower and torque, and with its 6,000-pound maximum towing capacity,3 hauling your RV or trailer loaded with the ATVs on the family vacation has never been easier. We can hardly wait for you to experience everything that the new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder has to offer.

Unless, of course, you've been taken in by a rival of the Nissan Pathfinder, like the new 2023 Volkswagen Atlas. Let's take a look at the comparison of the two models in the table below.

Yikes. We didn't think it would be this easy, but the new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder is the clear winner in this comparison. Both SUVs offer a wide variety of helpful features, including an optional all-wheel drive system and an available hands-free liftgate, but the Nissan Pathfinder speeds ahead in convenience and performance. We'd like to first focus on the Nissan Pathfinder SUV's EZ FLEX® Seating System featuring LATCH AND GLIDE® Technology. Even with a child's seat in place, the second-row captain's chairs can slide forward and tilt in two simple moves for easy third-row access. You can also move the second-row captain's chairs on either side of the vehicle. The Volkswagen Atlas, on the other hand, has no such similar feature. Its third row is accessible only by folding down the 60/40 split second row, which if you ask us, is a pretty awkward, inconvenient way to get to your seat. The Nissan Pathfinder also is the only SUV of the two that offers a standard tri-zone automatic climate control system (you'll have to pay for a more expensive trim of the Volkswagen Atlas to receive the same feature), and it has three more optional drive modes when paired with all-wheel drive. And finally, the Nissan Pathfinder offers a larger center touchscreen than the Volkswagen Atlas to display vital driver and vehicle information.
